I’m Carla Serrano Crespo, a cinematographer with a passion for capturing the moments that connect us all.
Having grown up in multiple countries and cultures, I’ve discovered that film and video are a universal language—one that transcends words and connects us through shared moments. This curiosity about human connection and cultural nuance continues to fuel my passion for capturing those moments on screen.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Film, Television, and Video Production from Webster University and am completing an MFA in Digital Filmmaking at Georgia State University. I bring a comprehensive skill set to every project. I have extensive experience as a Director of Photography, 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC), and Camera Operator, with a strong background in Grip and Electric, Production Design, Editing, and Color Grading. This versatility allows me to shape a visual story from concept to final delivery.
My work spans documentary and narrative film, with a focus on elevating underrepresented voices and creating stories that spark meaningful conversations. I’m passionate about collaborating with directors and production teams to create visually compelling and emotionally resonant work.
Let’s collaborate to craft something powerful. Feel free to reach out, I’d love to bring your story to life.
